Whitefish Bulldogs Fall to Billings Central to End the Season

    The Whitefish Bulldog Football team was in Billings, Saturday evening, taking on Billings Central in the Quarter-Final round of the MHSA Class "A" Playoffs.

    This game was played under the lights at Herb Klindt Field, home of the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears.

    Billings Central would show why they're the top team in Class "A" as the Rams Running Back Jack DeBourg ran for four Touchdowns in route to the 55-21 victory.

    The Dawgs would tie things up early in this one, after 1 of 4 DeBourg scores. Whitefish put together a stellar opening drive score. Carson Gulick would find Copper Akey on a 27 yard TD pass to tie things up at 7 all.

    It was all Central from there.

    The Rams would go on to score 48 unanswered points.

    Whitefish would show resilience to end the game as Riley Zetooney put up another 100 yards on the ground. Zetooney would score late in the 3rd, showing off his speed on a 42 yard touchdown run

    The Dawgs would score one more time before the end of the game as Gulick would find CJ Thew in the back of the endzone for a 4-yard TD pass. 

    Whitefish ends the season with a 7-4 overall record.
