Whitefish Basketball Swept at East-West Tip-Off Tournament

The Whitefish Basketball teams took part in the East-West Tip-Off Tournament, last weekend, at East Helena High School.

Both teams would get swept, losing all four games played.

On Friday, both teams would face-off with the host team, East Helena.

The Lady Dawgs would take to the floor first and fell by a final of 55-37.

Whitefish flashed plenty of positives in this one but the Lady Vigilantes were just to strong.

This time the teams would face Glendive.

Big 2nd and 4th quarters helped propel the Lady Red Devils to victory 47-24.

Senior Carmella Alfieri had her best game as a Lady Dawg dropping in 15 points to lead the way.

Dawson County was led by Sari Murphy with 15.

The Whitefish boys would score just 3 first quarter points as they fell 62-38 in their contest.
