The Dogs are Back in Town: Whitefish Football Season Preview

    The Whitefish High School Football team officially took to the gridiron, Friday morning, for their first official practice ahead of the 2024 Fall Season.

    The Bulldogs are coming off a 2023 season in which they finished 4-5 overall, 3-1 in the Northwest "A" Conference. They were 2nd in the Conference and 5th in the Western "A" Division. They earned the in the No. 5 Seed out of the Western "A", for the playoffs. The Dawgs made it to the first round of the post-season, losing to Columbia Falls.

    The Dawgs lost 2 All-State Players a year ago: Mason Kelch and Dane Hunt.

    The Dawgs return a strong core, led by Quarterback Carson Gulick who is primed to take a big leap this season.

    Another anchor for the Dawgs is senior Scotty Dalen who will be utilized in a plethora of ways.

    Head Coach of the Dawgs, Brett Bollweg enters his 3rd year at the helm of the program.

    The Whitefish Bulldogs open the season, Friday August 30th at Hamilton. The Dawgs home opener is scheduled for September 13th vs. Corvallis. Catch all the games live on 1240 AM & 102.7FM KSAM.
