Homecoming: Whitefish Football Puts on a Show, Sinks Bigfork

The Whitefish Bulldog Football team played host to Bigfork, Friday night, for Homecoming.

The Dawgs would force 3 turnovers on defense, ran for 300 yards on offense and struck on big play after big play for the 42-22 Homecoming Victory. 

Whitefish entered the game on a 2-game losing streak but broke out in a big way.

Bulldog Football set the tone early, establishing the run game. Dawgs had 2 players rush for over 100 yards each.

The Dawgs got on the board first, after Carson Gulick intercepted Bigfork's Cole Schmit inside the redzone and brought the football back 93 yards.

Just a few plays later Gulick would find CJ Thew for the 1 yard touchdown pass, with 1:47 to go in the first.

After Bigfork scored early in the 2nd, the Dawgs were set up with great field position. That's when Riley Zetooney showed off the wheels taking a hand-off 56 yards to the house. 

The Dawgs went into the halftime break up 14-6.

The floodgates would open in the 2nd half. CJ Thew opened up the 3rd quarter with a 96-yard kick-off return for a touchdown.

After forcing a Bigfork fumble on the goal line, the Whitefish offense would take it 95 yards to the house, finished off by a 2-yard TD run by Gulick.

Gulick also had touchdown passes to Scotty Dalen and CJ Thew in the 2nd half as Whitefish ran away with the victory.
