The Whitefish High School Football team was in Eureka, Friday night, in a game that showcased plenty of offense.
Both the Whitefish Bulldogs and Lincoln County Lions would combine to total about 1,000 yards of offense.
The two teams would exchange blow after blow, like a heavy weight boxing match with neither team blinking.
The Lions would come away victorious, winning the high scoring affair, 39-32.

The teams would combine for 32 points in the first quarter, with Eureka leading 18-14 after one frame of play.
Whitefish scored on chunk plays: Their first touchdown was a 62-yard pass from Carson Gulick to C.J. Thew. Their second score came courtesy of a Riley Zetooney 79-yard TD run.
The difference in the game came right before the half. After Whitefish scored with 90 seconds to go until halftime, to make it 25-22, Eureka answered right back. Lincoln County's Rogan Lytle beat the defense on a deep shot down the middle and punched it into the endzone one play later to give the Lions a 32-22 lead at the half.
Whitefish opened the third with a Tait Orme 27-yard Field Goal and after Eureka scored to open the fourth, Whitefish answered right back.
With 3:25 to go in the game, Carson Gulick found pay-dirt from 12 yards out on a quarterback keeper.
This game came down to who had the ball last, which was the Lions.
Entering Whitefish territory the Lions were facing a big third and 8 with about a minute and some change left on the clock. The Dawgs needed a stop with just 1 timeout left to give the offense a chance. That's when Eureka's Head Coach Trevor Utter dialed up the gutsiest play call. Instead of playing conservative, the Lions rolled out their QB Lytle and he found his Tight End Emmit McKim, who made a sliding grab to seal the game.
Unofficially, Whitefish finished with just under 500 yards of total offense (318 passing, 177 rushing).
Eureka had 450 yards of total offense (299 rushing, 150 passing).
