Whitefish High School's Scotty Dalen has committed to Montana Western to play Football.
Dalen is listed as 6'2" tall and weighs 220 pounds.
Dalen said he's being recruited to play along the Defensive Line for Western.
Dalen officially made the call, over the weekend, announcing the news via social media:

my teammates, and everyone else who helped me reach this moment! Go Dawgs!!! ⚫️🐶🔴@Coach_Martello @CoachHurd54 pic.twitter.com/jVzXm6OLhL
Dalen helped lead the Whitefish Bulldogs to a 7-4 overall record, in 2024. The Dawgs would fall to Billings Central in the quarter-final round of the Class "A" Playoffs.
Dalen, a big bodied player showed off his resilience and toughness all year long, especially on the D-Line as one of it's anchors.
I had the pleasure of catching up with Dalen to talk about the commitment, his time at Whitefish and how he plans to spend the rest of his senior year.
Montana Western is a part of the NAIA Division, competing in the Frontier Conference.
