Whitefish's Izzy Hartwig Signs with Cal Poly Humboldt

Whitefish's Isabella Hartwig has officially signed with Cal Poly Humboldt where she will play Volleyball for the Lumberjacks.

Hartwig made the news official, Wednesday morning, signing her Letter of Intent inside Whitefish High School.

Hartwig has been the primary Middle Hitter for the Lady Dawgs the last two years.

Hartwig helped lead Whitefish Volleyball to one of the better regular seasons in recent memory. The lady Dawgs finished the regular season with a 12-2 overall, 11-1 in Northwest "A" Conference play, winning the regular season title outright.

Unfortunately their season was cut short after being eliminated at the Divisional Tournament.

I had the pleasure of catching up with Izzy to talk about the decision, her time at Whitefish and more:

California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt (Cal Poly Humboldt or Humboldt) is a public university in Arcata, California. It is one of three polytechnic universities in the California State University (CSU) system and the northernmost campus in the system.

The Lumberjacks program is affiliated with the NCAA on the Division II level and is a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
