Whitefish Volleyball Sinks Polson, Now 1st Place in NW "A"

    The Whitefish High School Volleyball team was in Polson, Tuesday night, looking to avenge their only conference loss of the season.

    Stakes were high in this one as the Lady Dawgs fell to Polson earlier in the season, losing 3 games to 2.

    Whitefish went into this one with redemption on the mind and made quick work of the Lady Pirates.

    Whitefish would come away with the 3 game sweep: 25-20, 25-17, 25-17.

    With the win the Lady Dawgs now sit in 1st place in the Northwest "A" Conference.

    Leading the way for Whitefish Volleyball was Allie Shors with 18 assists.

    Izzy Hartwig tallied 17 kills.

    Maggie Mercer had 12 digs.

    Kaydence Blackwell added 10 assists.

    With the win the Whitefish Lady Bulldog Volleyball team is now 11-2 on the season, 10-1 in Northwest "A" Conference Play.

    Up Next: The Lady Dawgs will close the regular season hosting arch rival, Columbia Falls, Tuesday October 29th.

    That game will get underway at 7:15pm.

    The Whitefish Lady Bulldogs can claim the regular season conference crown with a win vs. C-Falls.
