Whitefish Natives Mac Roche, Collin Fuller Named Flathead Football Coach Finalists

    Flathead High School is in the market for a new Head Coach and have named 5 finalists for the position.

    Among the finalists two are Whitefish High School Alums: Collin Fuller and Mac Roche.

    Fuller a 2008 graduate of Whitefish High School played football for the Bulldogs. He then went on to play football for Montana Western University before becoming an assistant at Flathead High School.

    Roche, a 2011 graduate of Whitefish High School also played football for the Dogs. He would go on to play quarterback for the Carroll College Fighting Saints. After his playing days, Roche would become the Athletics Director at Missoula Loyola. In 2019, Roche returned to help coach the Dogs as an assistant under Chad Ross. Roche is currently the Strength and Conditioning coach at Philip Simmons High School in Charleston, SC.

    The other three finalists include AJ Burnham, a Flathead High School Teacher; Bryan McGrath, who works at Columbia Falls High School and Dog James.

    Caleb Aland, was dismissed as Head Coach in December.

    Flathead High School Activities Director, Matt Allison, says a recommendation is expected by February 6th.
