The Whitefish High School baseball season gets underway in the next few weeks. KSAM will be bringing live play-by-play coverage of select games throughout the spring season.
2023 was the Inaugural year for Baseball as a sanctioned MHSA sport.
In their first season, the Whitefish Bulldogs would come away with a 2nd place finish at the State Tournament, falling to Polson in the Title game.
The Dawgs finished the season 16-2 overall, 8-0 in conference play.
The Dawgs return a strong core, coached by Kyler Blades, and their season is set to start in just a few short weeks.

In all, KSAM plans to broadcast 10 total games (All home games + 3 road games and any/all post-season games).
The remaining road games to be broadcasted, include:
At Eureka on April 6th.
At Columbia Falls on April 11th.
The Dawgs opened the season the weekend of March 15th and 16th, playing in Polson.
Their original home opener was scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th against Troy but was rescheduled to April 18th.
The Dawgs take part in the Western Montana Baseball Showcase, in Missoula, Friday and Saturday April 19th & 20th.
Whitefish hosts the Sapa-Johnsrud Invite May 10th and 11th.
All of the Bulldogs home games will be played at Smith Fields.
