Both Whitefish boys and girls basketball teams would match-up with Libby Monday night.

The girls would get their first conference win of the season, a 43-36 victory, in overtime.

The boys would down Libby on a Mason Kelch buzzer beater to keep the Loggers winless in conference play.

Here's a full replay of the girls game:

In the girls game, the Lady Dawgs would open up the socring, leading 7-4 after one quarter of play. Charlize Ullrich would drop in 6 points in the first quarter.

Whitefish would extend that lead in the 2nd, thanks to a 10-0 run and took the 19-12 lead into the halftime break.

Libby would not go away as the Lady Loggers trailed by 6 after three quarters, 25-19.

Libby went on a run in the fourth quarter outscoring the Lady Dawgs by nine in the fourth quarter but Whitefish played stifling defense when it mattered to send the game to OT.

In the overtime period, it was all Whitefish. Ullrich and Jude Perry each dropped in big buckets while Madi Gordon and Bailey Smith made key free throws and the Lady Dawgs outscored the opposition by nine in OT to win the game 43-36.

Charlize Ullrich was named the OrthoRehab Player of the game, finishing with 8 points. She played stellar defense all night, blocking shots, grabbing steals and forcing miscues for Libby all night. Smith led the Lady Dawgs in scoring with 12 points.

With the win, the Lady Bulldogs snap a 4-game losing streak and improve to 4-7 overall, 1-4 in conference play.

As for the boys game, the Dawgs took to the road for a match-up with Libby.

Libby is always a tough place to play and the Dawgs had to battle all night long.

Whitefish took the 37-31 lead into the halftime break and extended the lead to 49-40 after three quarters.

Libby would not go away. The Loggers came all the way back and took a 55-53 lead with 11 seconds to go.

    That's when the magic happenend.

After a timeout, the Dawgs had to go the length of the court. CJ Thew, right to left, brought the ball down, swung it nearside to Dane Hunt who found Mason Kelch. Kelch got a screen from Scott Dalen to free him up from three and drilled the game winner to give the Dawgs a 56-55 road conference win.
