Former Whitefish Bulldog and current Montana Tech Football Player Ryder Barinowski was named the Gunnar Kayser Freshman of the Year.
This year marks the 4th annual Gunnar Kayser Freshman of the Year Award.
Barinowski, majoring in exercise Science is the Orediggers Kicker.
Barinowski primarily handled the kick-off duties during the 2024-25 season.
He totaled 42 touchbacks on 82 kick-offs, amassing 5,000 yards.

Gunnar Kayser was inducted into the Digger Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018.
