Earlier this week the Montana High School Association announced it's 2024 members to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Bigfork's Makena Morley is 1 of the 7 athletes that will be inducted.
Morley was a cross country and track and field athlete during her time as a Valkyrie from 2011-2015.
She won 13 State titles during her career, 9 in track.
She would also garner All-American honors for her 2014 performance in the New balance indoor and outdoor national two-mile races.
She was a 4-time State Champ in Cross Country.
Post High School, Morley would run for the University of Montana as well as Colorado.
In 2018, she helped lead the Buffs to win the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
Since 2020 Morley has been running professionally for Asics.

Kronebusch is this year's legacy inductee. The legacy inductee category is for nominees who have graduated at least 50 years prior to the induction year.
The MHSA Athletes Hall of Fame is located in Billings at Rocky Mountain College, inside of the Fortin Center. Each iductee will recieve a plaque that will be on display.
